Windermere is not only a great place to own a home because of the luxury and new homes within it.  But also for what surrounds it.  Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando, International Drive, Doctor Phillips, Fun Spot America, Icon 360 are all minutes away.  For Luxury living, entertainment and Shopping it is hard to find anything like Windermere Florida.

Gated Community Types

The community subdivisions come in both gated and ungated. The Communities with gates come in several kinds. Here is the basics.

  1.  Is a standard swipe card or keypad entry.
  2.  Has the above plus a talk through communicator.
  3.  A security guard.  This comes with 2 types of check ins.  The first is show a drivers license or other identification and you are let in.  The second is show your identification and then the guard calls the homeowner on the number that the guard has in the system.  If the homeowners denies or does not answer the phone you are not allowed in.
